EgyptSat-A is the satellite that serves as the third and most remote-sounding satellite for the Earth. Alongside RKK Energiya in Russia, the satellite is jointly developed by Egypt’s National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences.

EgyptSat-A, an improved version of EgyptSat 2, is based on the 559GK-Bus from RSC Energia, which has been integrated with the USP-Plattform.
