China has several of its own satellites that have been launched into orbit for various purposes, including communications, navigation, meteorology and scientific research. Some of China’s satellites include:
1. Unmanned lunar missions, such as Chang’e-4 and Chang’e-5.
2. A series of satellites for the Beidou Global Navigation System (COMPASS).
3. Satellites for meteorological observation and Earth exploration.
4. Scientific satellites for the study of space and stars.
In addition to its own satellites, China also cooperates with other countries and international organisations in the launch and use of satellites.
