Communications Satellite is based on the ‘Express-1000NTA’ ISS Reshetnev bus with a launch mass of about 3000 kg. It will probably receive the designation ‘Kosmos’ after launch. It is reported that it will be located at 167° East longitude. The buses were reportedly repurposed from cancelled communications satellite projects, probably following the Yamal 300K and Yamal-500 satellites.
